Fixed fanny for a friend

Designer jeans are expensive. Not only do they cost a lot up front, but they don't wear very hard, either.

My friend thought her Citizens of Humanity jeans were going to wind up in the trash. She had tried one of those iron on denim patches, but the stretchiness of the new denim is no match for those. The hole in the crotch needed something much more durable than that.

This was a perfect opportunity for some creative, visible mending!

In addition to the hole, the pockets needed attention. The left was detaching so I reattached it with a cute lazy daisy, and the right was detaching and ripping a hole, so I reinforced that with some Sashiko style stitches.

Personally, I think they're cooler now than they were before!
